VapoCept FAQ: 40 Questions, Answered Plainly

VapoCept is a capsule dietary supplement. Each bottle holds 30 capsules, and the serving is 1 capsule a day. The front label reads "VapoCept", "CLINICAL MEMORY RESTORATION", "FOCUS | CLARITY | ENERGY" and "30 CAPSULES", with the words "DIETARY SUPPLEMENT".

It is label text, and we quote it only as label text. No clinical study of the VapoCept formula is published. A supplement cannot restore memory lost to a medical cause. The post on the label phrase goes through it in full.

We cannot say it does, and we do not claim it. The seven ingredients are studied mainly for blood pressure, blood flow and exercise, at grams a day. None of that research is about memory. The NIH's NCCIH says evidence for supplements and thinking is generally weak.

The sales page talks about "daily mental clarity", "sustained energy" and "cognitive well-being". Those are the sales page's words. No study has tested the VapoCept formula for any of them.

Vapozcept, which calls itself a USA Authorized Retailer, runs this website and its order links. No maker or distributor line is visible in the bottle images we were given.

No. It is sold as a dietary supplement. It is not meant to diagnose, treat or cure anything, and nothing on this site is medical advice.

The published panel lists niacin 7.5 mg NE, calcium (as calcium carbonate) 18 mg, L-arginine (base) 200 mg, L-arginine AKG 2:1 extract 200 mg, L-citrulline HCl 100 mg, L-citrulline malate 100 mg and beta-alanine 40 mg. The ingredients page covers each one.

No. Every amount is printed, which is a real plus. You can check each number against research instead of guessing what a blend total hides.

About 340 mg. That is 200 mg of base arginine plus roughly 140 mg from the 200 mg AKG 2:1 form. Blood pressure trials used 4 to 24 g a day, with a median of 9 g (Dong et al., 2011).

They are far lower. Citrulline studies used 3 to 10 g a day, and VapoCept has 200 mg across two forms. Beta-alanine studies for exercise used 4 to 6 g a day, and VapoCept has 40 mg. The five amino acids total 640 mg per capsule.

Not published. The fillers, the capsule material and any % Daily Value figures were not in the information we were given. Ask the order desk if you need them, for example for a diet or an allergy.

The panel lists base arginine plus an AKG form, and citrulline as both an HCl salt and a malate. The brand does not explain the choice. Salt forms carry some weight from the bound part, so 200 mg of citrulline across two salts means slightly less pure citrulline than 200 mg.

From the sales page, as given in our brief. No back-label photo was supplied. So we call it the published panel. If your bottle shows something different, your bottle is right.

The directions read: "One capsule daily with an 8 oz glass of water." That is the whole instruction.

The directions do not say. Pick a time you will remember, such as with breakfast, and keep it steady. The how to use page has simple habit ideas.

The directions say one capsule daily. We do not suggest going over it. More capsules would not bring the amounts close to research doses, and they would add to the niacin and calcium you get elsewhere.

30 days at 1 capsule a day. Two bottles last 60 days, three last 90 and six last 180.

The directions give no food rule, only the 8 oz glass of water. Some people find capsules sit better with a meal. That is a comfort choice, not a label direction.

Take the next capsule at your usual time. Do not double up to catch up.

There is no set timeline, and results vary. Most reviewers told the order desk they waited 3 to 6 weeks. That is order-desk data, not a promise. The most common complaint was a slow start.

It is for adults 18 and older. It is not for anyone under 18. If you are pregnant or nursing, talk to your doctor first.

It may. Arginine and citrulline can lower blood pressure and may add to blood pressure medicines, nitrates and other blood-pressure-lowering drugs. If you take any of these, or have a heart, kidney or blood pressure condition, ask your doctor before you start.

See a doctor first. Memory changes can have many medical causes, and some can be treated. A doctor's check comes before any supplement, for you or a family member.

Add up the niacin and calcium. VapoCept has 7.5 mg NE niacin, about half the 16 mg NE adult men need, and the upper limit from supplements is 35 mg. Its 18 mg of calcium is small next to the 1,000 mg daily need.

Unlikely. Tingling shows up with single doses above about 800 mg (Trexler et al., 2015). VapoCept has 40 mg.

No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before sale. The "FDA-registered facility" seal describes the factory, not the product. The side effects page covers safety in full.
