VapoCept Ingredients: Seven Printed Amounts
VapoCept lists seven ingredients per capsule: niacin 7.5 mg NE, calcium 18 mg, L-arginine 200 mg, L-arginine AKG 2:1 200 mg, L-citrulline HCl 100 mg, L-citrulline malate 100 mg and beta-alanine 40 mg. Every amount is printed. That works out to about 340 mg of arginine and 200 mg of citrulline forms.

What ingredients are in VapoCept?
VapoCept lists seven ingredients, each with its own amount. They are niacin, calcium, two forms of arginine, two forms of citrulline and beta-alanine.
The five amino acid entries add up to 640 mg per capsule. Niacin and calcium sit on top of that. The serving is one capsule, and each bottle holds 30.
| Ingredient | Per capsule | What it is | Mainly studied for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Niacin | 7.5 mg NE | Vitamin B3 | Daily nutrient need (energy use in cells) |
| Calcium (as calcium carbonate) | 18 mg | Mineral | Daily nutrient need (bones) |
| L-Arginine (base) | 200 mg | Amino acid | Blood pressure, blood flow |
| L-Arginine AKG 2:1 | 200 mg | Amino acid bound to AKG | Sports products, blood flow |
| L-Citrulline HCl | 100 mg | Amino acid salt | Blood pressure, blood flow |
| L-Citrulline Malate | 100 mg | Amino acid bound to malic acid | Exercise, blood flow |
| Beta-Alanine | 40 mg | Amino acid | High-effort exercise |
This list comes from the published panel on the sales page. No back-label photo was supplied to us. Other ingredients and the capsule material were not published, so we cannot list them.
Does VapoCept use a proprietary blend?
No. Every one of the seven amounts is printed, and that is a real point in the product's favor.
Many focus products hide their doses inside a "blend" with one total weight. You then cannot tell if a key ingredient is there at 500 mg or at 5 mg. VapoCept does not do that. You can check each number against research yourself, which is what the rest of this page does.
How much niacin and calcium does one capsule give?
One capsule gives 7.5 mg NE of niacin and 18 mg of calcium. That is about half of a man's daily niacin need and about 2% of the daily calcium need.
Niacin, 7.5 mg NE
Niacin is vitamin B3. "NE" means niacin equivalents, the unit used for daily needs. Adult men need 16 mg NE a day, and the upper limit from supplements is 35 mg (NIH ODS, niacin). At 7.5 mg, VapoCept stays well below that limit on its own. Most people also get niacin from meat, fish, grains and many multivitamins.
Calcium, 18 mg
Calcium is listed as calcium carbonate. Adults 19 to 70 need 1,000 mg a day, and the upper limit is 2,000 to 2,500 mg (NIH ODS, calcium, 2023). So 18 mg is a very small top-up. A glass of milk has many times more. It will not change your calcium intake in any real way.
How much arginine is in VapoCept?
About 340 mg of arginine in total. The panel splits it across two forms, so you have to add them.
Start with the base form
The panel lists 200 mg of L-arginine (base). That is plain arginine, all of it counted.
Add the AKG form
L-arginine AKG 2:1 is arginine joined to alpha-ketoglutarate in about a two to one ratio. Roughly 140 mg of its 200 mg is arginine.
Total it up
200 mg plus about 140 mg gives about 340 mg of arginine per capsule.
Compare with trials
Blood pressure trials used grams, not milligrams. The median dose was 9 g a day, about 26 times more.
Arginine is an amino acid found in meat, dairy, nuts and beans. Your body uses it to make nitric oxide. A review of blood pressure trials found doses from 4 to 24 g a day, with a median of 9 g (Dong et al., 2011). Those were blood pressure studies, not memory studies. The how it works page walks through the nitric oxide pathway in plain words.
Why does VapoCept list two forms of citrulline?
The panel lists 100 mg of L-citrulline HCl and 100 mg of L-citrulline malate. Together that is 200 mg of citrulline forms per capsule.
Both are salt forms. HCl is a hydrochloride salt. Malate means citrulline bound to malic acid, a pairing common in sports powders. Because part of each weight is the salt, the pure citrulline is a little under 200 mg. The panel does not say how much.
Your kidneys turn citrulline into arginine. That is why some people see it as a way to raise arginine levels. Studies on blood pressure and blood flow used about 3 to 10 g of citrulline a day (Allerton et al., 2018). The VapoCept amount is well below the low end.
What does beta-alanine do in VapoCept?
The label gives 40 mg of beta-alanine, and it does not say why it is there. Beta-alanine is most familiar from pre-workout products.
In muscle it helps build carnosine, which buffers acid during hard effort. The sports nutrition position stand on it covers doses of 4 to 6 g a day, split into smaller servings (Trexler et al., 2015). Single doses above about 800 mg can cause a harmless tingling of the skin. At 40 mg, that tingling is very unlikely.
How do the VapoCept amounts compare with research doses?
They are much lower. The amino acids come in milligrams, while the studies used grams.
| Ingredient | In one capsule | Daily need or research dose | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Niacin | 7.5 mg NE | 16 mg NE a day for adult men (NIH ODS) | About 47% of the need |
| Calcium | 18 mg | 1,000 mg a day, ages 19 to 70 (NIH ODS) | About 2% of the need |
| Arginine, both forms | About 340 mg | 4 to 24 g a day in blood pressure trials, median 9 g | About 4% of the median |
| Citrulline, both forms | 200 mg | 3 to 10 g a day in studies | About 7% of the low end |
| Beta-alanine | 40 mg | 4 to 6 g a day in exercise studies | About 1% of the low end |
This does not mean the capsule is unsafe or pointless. It means you cannot borrow results from gram-dose studies and apply them to one capsule. No clinical study of the VapoCept formula itself has been published. For a longer look at the numbers, read seven amounts vs research.
What are these ingredients mainly studied for?
Mostly blood flow, blood pressure and exercise. None of the seven is mainly studied for memory.
Blood flow and blood pressure
Arginine and citrulline help the body make nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vessels. Most research looks at blood pressure and circulation.
Exercise
Beta-alanine raises carnosine in muscle. Sports studies look at short bursts of hard effort, at 4 to 6 g a day.
Everyday nutrient needs
Niacin and calcium are basic nutrients. Their fact sheets cover daily needs and upper limits, not focus or recall.
The front label prints "Clinical Memory Restoration." That is label text, not a study result. A capsule cannot bring back memory lost to a medical cause. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health says research on supplements for cognitive function is generally weak (NCCIH). If memory changes worry you or your family, a doctor's visit comes first. The benefits page sets out what the sales page says and what the research covers.
What do the ingredient photos show?
They show raw-looking powders and crystals from the brand's image set. They do not show which ingredient is which.

The brand image set includes six close-up stills: white crystals, clear shards, beige powder, tan granules, yellow granules and grey powder. They look like raw ingredients. The brand never labels them, so we do not match a photo to a name.
Photos like these set a mood. They do not show purity, dose or effect. For that, the printed amounts on the Supplement Facts page are the thing to read.
VapoCept ingredients: common questions
How many ingredients are in VapoCept?
Seven, each with a printed amount: niacin, calcium, L-arginine, L-arginine AKG 2:1, L-citrulline HCl, L-citrulline malate and beta-alanine.
Is there a proprietary blend in VapoCept?
No. Every ingredient has its own printed amount, so nothing is hidden inside a blend total.
How much arginine is in one capsule?
About 340 mg. That is 200 mg of base arginine plus roughly 140 mg from the 200 mg of arginine AKG 2:1.
Does VapoCept contain caffeine or stimulants?
None are listed on the published panel. Other ingredients were not published, so ask the order desk if you need to be sure.
Why is calcium so low?
The panel does not explain it. At 18 mg, it is about 2% of the 1,000 mg adults need each day, so it adds very little.
Are the ingredients studied for memory?
Not mainly. Arginine and citrulline are studied for blood pressure and blood flow, and beta-alanine for exercise, all at gram doses.
What are the other ingredients and capsule made of?
They were not published in the information we have. Call the order desk at +1 (507) 448-8190 to ask.
